Resonant Media is an independent publishing and creative media company founded in 2024 by educator, researcher, and media producer Steven Jimenez. The company has grown from more than a decade of work across independent media, photography, education, research, and digital publishing.
Resonant Media provides a home for projects spanning curriculum and instructional design, photography, music and audio production, publishing, archival research, and digital media. Educational work focuses on the development of accessible curriculum materials, instructional tools, and technology-supported learning systems, while media work continues a longstanding commitment to documenting and preserving music, people, and local culture.
Rather than operating as a traditional creative agency, Resonant Media serves as the organizational and publishing structure through which independent projects can be developed, documented, and released. Its related work includes InnovatED educational resources, Garageland Radio, Infernal Records, photography and publishing projects, and collaborations with the nonprofit Garageland Media Foundation.
